Sophomore Ethan McFarland is a student who is eager to participate in all functions of high school. McFarland has spent his past two years participating in theater and golf as well as having a passion for academics. 

“This golf season went way better than last year,” McFarland said. “I even won some matches,” McFarland said he enjoys playing golf because he finds it relaxing. 

Besides golf, McFarland has many other interests. “In my free time I like to play video games, watch anime, hang out with my friends, and I like to ride my bike,” he said.

McFarland is currently trying to plan a senior trip to Japan with his friends, as he truly loves the culture there. During quarantine, McFarland picked up even more pastimes, including playing the piano and training his new dog Archie. 

McFarlands’ true love, however, lies in the theatre. After graduating from high school, McFarland hopes to be accepted into an acting college. His dream school is Boston University’s School of Theatre.
