Nominated: Boys’ soccer head coach, Wynleux Henderson
Freshman Shawn Montero is this week’s Wildcat Athlete of the Week. According to Coach Wynleux Henderson, Montero has gone above and beyond. After realizing the JVB team needed a goalkeeper, he stepped up and has continued to improve. Shawn made 6 key saves on Sept. 16 against rivals Westerville North to keep the score tied 0-0, until the Wildcats scored two goals to win the game. He is the definition of Wildcat Pride.
