The final score  of the NBA All-Star game was 178 to 164 with the west taking the win in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 17.   The west was under the leadership of team captain Lebron James and Giannis Antetoukounmpo headed up the east team; both captains  hand picked their teams.

Antetokounmpo selected players Paul George, Joel Embiid, Stephen Curry, Kemba Walker, Khris Middleton, Blake Griffin, Russell Westbrook, Kyle Lowry, Dirk Nowitzki, D’angelo Russell, and Nikola Vucevic.

James chose  Kevin Durant,  Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson, Bradley Beal, Ben Simmons, Lamarcus Aldridge, Karl Anthony towns, Anthony Davis and Dwyane Wade.

As the game kicked off team Giannis was on a mission to win. They came in as if it was a playoff game, with team Giannis scoring 53 points in the 1st quarter and team Lebron lagging behind at 37.

Antetokounmpo was on a goal to lead his team to a win, and  his team work with Curry was highlighted with an insane alley oop.

As things were getting competitive in the second quarter,  team Lebron started to really put things into gear, reducing the lead by outsourcing team Giannis.

Team Lebron scored 45 points in the second quarter compared to the east, who scored 42 points.

Following the halftime performance by J Cole, the two teams went head to head trying to pull off a win.

In the third quarter,  team Lebron ignited a comeback with Lillard making his first point then going on to make 4 three pointers shooting from the logo mid-court.

A fun atmosphere in the game spun from regular teammates Thompson and Curry now competing against each other.

As Curry came up being guarded by Thompson, he pulled up getting a 4 point play while having a smile on his face messing with his friend.

As the third quarter ended, it was a close game with team Lebron scoring 50 points and team Giannis only scoring 33, making  the score now 132 to 131 with team Lebron in the lead.

In the fourth quarter, Wade scored an alley oop, which would be his last one before retiring at  the end of the season.

In the middle of the 4th quarter,  a fastbreak happened and Wade ran to the goal,  throwing the ball up and James catching the ball to finish with a slam dunk.

Team Lebron won, outscoring team Giannis in the fourth quarter to make  the final score 178 to 164.
