About The Scribe:

The Westerville South Scribe is the student news outlet of Westerville South High School. We are dedicated to balanced, factually correct, and professional journalism that is written by students, for students. We report on important news and events that occur within our school, within our community, and even international news that is pertinent to our student body. Each month, we upload an issue that can be found on this website; alternatively, we may decide to sell a print newspaper if time allows. Stay tuned to the announcements to determine when we will be selling a print edition, they do not stick around long!

Unsigned editorials represent the consensus opinion of the current editorial staff of The Scribe, signed editorials are the opinions of the author only, and are not necessarily the opinions of The Scribe staff or editorial staff. All opinion pieces printed in The Scribe do not necessarily represent the opinions of the Westerville South staff or administration, the Westerville City Schools, or the Westerville Board of Education. Letters to the editor will be printed provided they are signed. The editors of The Scribe reserve the right to edit all letters for space and content, though the integrity of the letter and its message will be preserved. The editors of The Scribe also reserve the right to edit any articles or forum responses for space or content. There is no prior review of the publication by a school administrator.
