The long-established restaurant located off State Street closed on Labor Day, Sept. 7. Sue Shields was given 60 days to vacate the building, since the property was sold. Yogi’s Hoagies opened 29 years ago when Shields was looking for a better way to work and take care of her mom. She has hired a real estate agent to help her find a new place to operate. Uptown resident Sue Carney says, “I loved her OSU signs every week. I looked forward to them and will miss them. They said things like ‘SMASH THE SPARTANS.’”
