All smiles from seniors Emily Whitehead and Evan Bettec for this early morning senior sunrise and the start to their final year in the halls of Westerville South! As Miss. Whitehead said, “let’s make this year the best one yet”!
Nothing says senior year like waking up at the crack of dawn to watch a foggy sunrise. On Aug. 29, 2025, the Class of 2026 came together for senior sunrise, kicking off their last year of high school with cozy blankets, Dunkin’ cups and plenty of smiles.

The foggy conditions left the track a field of dew but thanks to some smart seniors, many shared blankets to keep dry. (Sofie Loftin)
