Wanderlights – Nov. 21 – Feb. 15

Wanderlights describes themselves as Columbus’ ultimate free holiday destination. It is a free event for all ages with three different stations at Columbus Commons, West Town Street, and Scioto Mile Fountain covered in over a million lights total. It is open every day, with its hours being from 5-10 p.m.

Winter Jam 2026 – Jan. 24

Winter Jam 2026 is hosted annually at the Schottenstein Center, starting at 6 p.m., and estimated to end around 9:30 p.m. This show features many Christian artists, and is accessible to all ages! No tickets are sold, all that is required is a $15 donation at the door.

Buckeye Lake Winterfest – Jan. 31

Buckeye Lake Winterfest is an annual event that takes place around the Buckeye Lake region on the last Saturday of January. Enjoy live music, great food, dancing, fireworks, and attend the determining of the spring season with none other than their own Benny The Bass. Once the kickoff is over, you can visit and support over 40 local businesses with more food, drinks, live music, an art show, and more!

Snow Strippers – Jan. 20

Snow Strippers are an American duo consisting of members Tatiana Schwaninger and Graham Perez, with their music primarily classified under dance/electronic. They will be performing at KEMBA Live! starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets start at $54.

Jason Aldean, Nate Smith, Lanie Hardner and Dee Jay Silver – Jan. 23

Jason Aldean, Nate Smith, Lanie Hardner and Dee Jay Silver are all country-focused artists who will all be performing at the Nationwide Arena, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $70.

Jonah Kagen – Jan. 28

Jonah Kagen is a newly popular artist focused on acoustic folk, who will be performing at the A&R Music Bar starting at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $168.

Ghost – Feb. 2

Ghost is a nine member rock band, consisting of all members being coined as “Nameless Ghouls” with all near-identical outfits and makeup on stage. They will be performing at the Nationwide Arena starting at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $74.

Andrea Bocelli – Feb. 7

Andrea Bocelli is an artist commonly known for his classical music, and being able to blend sounds of opera and pop. He will be performing at the Schottenstein Center starting at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $107.

My name is Elliott Talbott, and I am a sophomore here at Westerville South! This is my first year on the Scribe, and I am a writer. I would say I’m most excited this year to write about things that might pique my interest, and get into other things I may not have previously known about! A fun fact about me is that I am a part of our school’s theater troupe, Troupe 513, and I have been on stage performing for more than half of my life!
